Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) that align with plant capacity and sales forecasts.
• Proactively monitor production progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep operations on track.
• Optimize inventory levels, including safety stock, to ensure seamless fulfillment while minimizing excess.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service to achieve business objectives and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Analyze production data, track key performance indicators, and generate actionable reports for leadership.
• Ensure data integrity within scheduling systems and support ongoing system improvements.
• Order and monitor raw materials to support production plans and minimize downtime.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cross-functional teams focused on operational excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• APICS-CPIM certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in master scheduling within a manufacturing environment (machine shop, industrial, automotive, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems on the production floor and drive results with a sense of urgency.
• Experience with IQMS or similar ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence and empower teams.
• Experience in metals manufacturing or high-mix, high-rate production environments.
• Track record of supporting or leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Primarily an office-based position with regular interaction on the production floor.
• Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000 + 15% Bonus
