PARK MAINTENANCE CHIEF III –FACILITIES AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM / DISTRICT FACILITIES MANAGEMENT / CANNABIS WATERSHED PROTECTION PROGRAM / McCLELLLAN
The reporting location for this position is McClellan, CA. This position will work under the general direction of Senior Park and Recreation Specialist.
The Park Maintenance Chief III (PMC III) serves as a second-level supervisor responsible for the management of the Cannabis Watershed Protection Program's "Ingress/Egress" Crew. The essential job functions of this position include road and trail repair and maintenance, road decommissioning, equipment operation and maintenance, equipment and project implementation training, and supervision. This position provides leadership, management, supervision, training, and employee development opportunities to staff, and serves as a technical expert on road and trail issues and heavy equipment. ensure clear, direct contact is maintained with local, State, Federal and outside entities with similar roles and responsibilities.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

Daily and frequent use of a personal computer and a variety of office software applications at a workstation; sit in a normal seated position for extended periods of time. Field work, overnight travel, and spike camp stays required. Work environment will have moderate exposure to extreme weather conditions, such as extreme temperatures and unusual weather, dirt, dust fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises, may involve some exposure to aggressive visitors; will work outside of office in a park setting and walk on uneven ground; may lift up to 40 lbs.
