The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It's Work That Matters.** **Overview** **Schedule:** Part-time position with flexible hours between Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** Assists faculty and staff in designing and implementing research projects. Independently plans, prepares, and conducts a wide variety of routine and non-routine (complex) laboratory procedures. Oversees multiple projects at a time. Records, tabulates, and analyzes data and assists with and provides expertise in the preparation of papers, posters, and scientific publications. Assists in training laboratory personnel. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** **_Required for those holding a Bachelor's degree:_** + 5 or more years of experience performing independent laboratory research experiments. **_Required for those holding a Master's degree:_** + 3 or more years of experience performing independent laboratory research experiments **Education/Licensure/Certifications:** Bachelors' degree, in a related scientific field (e.g., biology, microbiology, biochemistry, or psychology) required. Masters' degree or above preferred. **Pay Scale Information** $46,592.00-$76,544.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
